Close location still matters with volume
Strong volume into a mid-range close rarely confirms a breakout the way a close beyond the band does.
Volume answers participation; close location answers commitment. Both should agree before you call confirmation.
In hall drills we reject “volume spike” alone when the candle closes back inside the prior range.
Bring charts where volume looked loud but the close was soft—we use those as teaching cases.
